Product Customer Reviews
Good value for money
I expected more warmth from merino, but it's true that the gloves are really thin
in the latest under gloves available in merino wool, I am happy with my purchase. On the other hand, the seams are fragile at the fingertips, holes appear very quickly.
They definitely make a difference, they don't heat up much in my opinion, but I always have cold hands. However, you can feel the difference between wearing them under your mittens and not having them. I wasn't very happy with the touch on the fingertips because the black piece doesn't fit well under the fingertip. For the rest, useful.
I use them with about 5-10 while running. Very light, they work very well as mandatory material for trail running.
Super product, excellent as under gloves but also as main gloves, warm and light, allowing you to have warm hands and at the same time uncompromising dexterity
Good lightweight gloves for cool weather
Excellent liner gloves. Very thin so unless you're gloves are super tight, they'll fit underneath. Adds that bit of extra warmth that might be the difference between wearing a 'medium' glove or heavyweight fleece gloves with less dexterity. I also wear mine on their own in cool weather, when a proper glove will be too warm but my hands will feel a little chilly out in the open after a while. They're not the most durable, simply because they're a liner, so I make sure to be careful I'm not rubbing them on anything that might put holes in them (such as crossing a stile).
I don't think they are merino wool. They are excessively thin for cold.
Very good value for money, keep you warm.
They were successfully advertised, they didn't last on my thumbs and got worn. Warm and thin though.

They are very comfortable, they do not bother. Ideal as a first layer for the cold. On top you can put other gloves for protection

What does the dexterity of a glove refer to?
A glove's dexterity corresponds to its ability to handle objects with ease. Our liner gloves have been given a score from 1 to 5 in a laboratory study. The closer the score is to 5, the more the glove can handle objects in the same way as bare hands. In particular, tests were done to measure how easily it is to get a jacket on and open it with these liner gloves.
Warmth
When worn under hiking gloves, these liner gloves will give you 37°F (3°C) of additional warmth. This corresponds to the ambient temperature at which 100% of testers felt comfortable. For better protection, we recommend that you wear gloves over the liner glove.
How is usage temperature measured?
All our gloves are laboratory-tested using a thermal hand to determine their level of insulation and minimum temperature rating. The minimum temperatures for use (recommended and limit) are the result of a study carried out with a test panel of 23 walkers exposed to temperatures ranging from 41°F (5°C) to -4°F (20°C) and 10 km/h winds. These temperatures are only valid in walking conditions.
How to properly protect your hands from the cold
By applying the layering principle, you can optimise the insulation of your hands. Consequently, by wearing liner gloves in addition to gloves, several air gaps are created around your hands, which provide effective insulation from the cold. To achieve this, the gloves must be big enough not to compress your fingers. This is because the compression slows down the blood flow in the fingers, which prevents them from keeping warm.
Origin of the wool
We use wool from merino sheep bred on farms in South Africa that do not practise mulesing. We built a partnership with a group of breeders (Konsortium Merino) to guarantee respect for animal welfare and the environment. This means we have full traceability, which allows us to guarantee the origin of the wool.
How to maintain your merino wool liner gloves
We recommend that you machine wash your Merino wool liner gloves at 86°F (30°C) on a normal cycle, preferably with liquid detergent. Dry them on a flat surface, away from moisture and all sources of heat. This could damage the fibre and make them lose their shape. Never put them in the tumble dryer.
Warning!
These gloves do not protect against the spread of viruses or microbes.
Product testing
Our design team is based at the foot of Mont Blanc, in Haute-Savoie (France). All year round, our designers create and develop products that are appealing, simple, and technologically advanced. These are then ruthlessly tested in the field because we believe that the only way to continually improve is to test the products under the real-life conditions that you will experience.
